Battersea Bridge House Hospital features three dedicated mental health wards, offering a total of 22 individual bedrooms. The facilities support the hospital’s ability to provide exceptional care to its patients.
These facilities include:
- Browning 10 bedded female acute mental health ward
- Blake 6 bedded female acute mental health ward.
- Hardy 6 bedded male acute mental health ward
The hospital has single-sex accommodation to provide a secure and supportive environment for all patients.
They understand the importance of privacy and personal space. That’s why each individual bedroom in our hospital comes with en-suite facilities. These facilities include a toilet and washing/shower facilities, allowing you to maintain your comfort and dignity throughout your stay.
Facilities also include communal lounges, dining rooms on each ward, and quiet rooms for relaxation and prayer. The hospital also has therapy rooms, consulting and medical assessment rooms, meeting rooms, a coffee lounge, and activities kitchens.
Each of the ward areas is equipped with dedicated recreational and communal living spaces, providing a welcoming atmosphere for social interaction and relaxation. We also offer quiet spaces for moments of reflection and solitude. Each ward has its own dedicated access to pleasant external courtyards and gardens.

Admissions to Battersea Bridge House Hospital
Battersea House Hospital is for individuals who require assessment and treatment for mental health conditions. However, please note that they do not admit individuals whose primary need is physical healthcare, primary treatment for drug or alcohol dependency, or an eating disorder. To receive care at Battersea House Hospital, your patients must be 18 years or older.
