Acute Inpatient Mental Health Services
Our hospitals support a holistic approach to mental health care and advocate positive progression towards recovery and discharge. Our acute hospitals offer one of the lowest lengths of stay (an average of 24.4 days). This is achieved via close links with service users’ local community and family to tailor personalised care plans and discharge-oriented admission to the hospital.
NHS Referral
We are linked with local NHS organisations and regularly reviewed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), ensuring that we meet quality standards of care.
Sources of referral:
- NHS trusts and local systems
- NHS England specialised mental health case managers.
- Community mental health teams
- Medium and low secure hospitals
- Mental health acute/psychiatric intensive care units (PICUs)/secure inpatient
- Prisons and courts
- Social services and the police
We offer same-day admission that can be facilitated via our expert team and arrange suitable transport if needed. We can accept referrals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Urgent or out-of-hours appointments and admissions can be arranged immediately by telephoning our dedicated service centre.
Our timeframe for decision-making is 45 minutes from receiving contact.
Private Referral (Individual, family, or carer referral)
We offer a wide range of support for family members and carers who wish to have their loved ones assessed and potentially to be admitted privately to a hospital facility. We have a dedicated phone line where this could be discussed in confidence with a senior member of our team.
